About Us

Armada Power transforms water heaters through its’ patented hardware and software platform (FleetCommander) into real-time, two-way energy storage resources. By aggregating a fleet of water heaters, we are able to increase grid resiliency while being non-intrusive to customers. Armada’s patented controllers connect to typical resistive electric water heater, while not effecting manufacture warranties through the power source and using two independent thermistors to monitor both bottom and top temperature. FleetCommander through its algorithms organizes and stacks the fleet based on a series of adjustable perimeters to optimize the fleet into a grid resource while optimizing customer comfort.
